           Time:  - min 4 hrs / day

                          - max 8 hrs / day

 

           Tools:  - measuring tapes

                           - measuring wheels

                           - laser distance measurer

                           - digital cameras

                           - voice recorder

                           - stud/wire detector

                           - flash lights

 

 

 

 

 

Note: 

For most of our inspections these are the tools we currently use. They offer sufficient accuracy within acceptable tolerances. For special conditions we can perform / recommend specialized inspections such as:

             - professional surveys with the use of a theodolite / laser levelers

             - thermal / infrared camera deep scans

             - X-rays scans for structural examination.

 

Inspections are usually required for Structural Reports and/or As Built Plans.

We use CADD Software to accurately represent the existing or designed structures.

Specifications:  Residential (based on our experience)

           Architectural set:

             - Preliminary floor plans: 4 - 6 hrs/floor

             - Reviewed final floor plans: 4 - 8 hrs/floor

             - Elevations: 1 - 2 hrs/ elev (1 - 2 stories)

             - Cross-sections: 2 - 4 hrs/ section (1 - 2 stories)

             - Roof plan: 2 hrs

             - Site plan: 2 - 4 hrs

             - Irrigation plan (basic): 4 - 8 hrs

             - Landscape plan (basic) 4 - 8 hrs

 

 

Generally for 1 story an architectural set requires

about 26 hrs of drafting.
